Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari said he couldn't remember being so sick since he was a young man

In a statement made available to , the group’s national president, Charles Mbani noted that President Buhari had fulfilled his campaign promises to Nigerians.

“After a critical assessment of the administration of President Muhammdu Buhari in the past two years, we have no doubt whatsoever that he has performed creditably well,” the group said.

“President Buhari deserves our commendation and also another term in office because of his sterling performance, which we would all agree is what our dear country needs at this critical stage of our existence.

“Also, President Muhammadu Buhari has indeed fulfilled his campaign promises to Nigerians in two years of his administration.

"We would recall that one of his campaign promises is to win the war against Boko Haram insurgents who were in control of over 20 local government areas in Borno state North-East Nigeria.

"Today, no local government area in Borno state is under the control of Boko Haram insurgents. This is indeed a testament to the commitment of President Muhammdu Buhari to the Nigerian cause. He has indeed matched words with action.

"‎We also believe that the purposeful leadership provided by President Muhammdu Buhari has returned Nigeria to the path of progress once again.

"‎We urge President Muhammadu Buhari to seek a second term in office, not just to consolidate on his developmental agenda, but to ensure that never again in our history as a nation would we be held ransom by insurgents and terrorist,” the group noted.

Meanwhile, the convener of Every Nigerian Do Something (ENDS),Perry Brimah says that President Buhari is critically ill.

Brimah also said that the president is being locked up in Aso Rock by a selfish cabal.
