Nigerians say Governor is behind attacks on Fashola

The ex-governor was said to have paid N78 million for the upgrade of his personal website, leased out the Falomo Shopping Centre for N1 million per annum and spent N139 million on two boreholes.

Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola has been in the eye of the storm recently following a series of accusations of misconduct made against him.

The ex-governor was first said to have paid N78 million for the upgrade of his personal website.

Subsequently it was also claimed that his administration leased out the Falomo Shopping Centre for N1 million per annum and spent N139 million on two boreholes.

The Falomo project was last week cancelled by current governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and some Nigerians have said via social media that he is behind the attacks on his predecessor and is acting on the instructions of All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Bola Tinubu who is said to be at loggerheads with Fashola.
