The immediate past chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Cheriff has gained entrance into the Wadata House.
Former chairman gains entrance into PDP secretariat
Ali Modu Sheriff who arrived the PDP national secretariat at about 7:00am on Monday was earlier prevented from the building by armed security operatives.

Sheriff who was accompanied by members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and a group of supporters stormed the party's national secretariat at about 7:00am on Monday, June 13, 2016.
They were however prevented from entering the building by armed security agents.
Sheriff gained entry into the Wadata Plaza at about 1:20pm minutes after the policemen stationed in an around the building were withdrawn on the orders of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase.
Sheriff claimed he remains the party’s national chairman and had come to resume office in line with a ruling by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
