For someone who was completely uninterested in food at a young age, Kitchen Butterfly’s journey into being a chef and a lover of food is quite interesting.

She takes us on her journey into the fascinating world of the taste and business of food in Africa; her growth from anti-food caterpillar to the amazing Kitchen Butterfly.

She likes everything about food; where it comes from, the health perspective, spiritual significance, nutritional values, etc.

Most great meals need a little bit of the unusual to achieve their taste and on this episode we discover that the best ingredient is quite often the chef. Ozoz believes food should be celebrated and not just taken for granted.

“My father was a phenomenal cook; he is the primary influence on my culinary exploits,” she says. He is a major part of her journey into becoming a chef and food lover.

She discusses her earliest memories, childhood and interaction with people and places from different parts of the world.

Her culinary exploits are driven by her passion for flavours from all over the world; Ozoz Sokoh has gone all the way round the magic of the amazing tastes that land on your tongue.
