Niniola [Episode 48]

Pulse Nigeria, exclusive partners with My Africa Podcast brings you another interesting interview with singer, Niniola.

Niniola

Televised talent shows didn’t spring her to fame, she hasn’t had a big splashy breakup with a fellow celebrity and she hasn’t landed a nice fat endorsement yet, so what is it that keeps Niniola going?

Niniola talks about her passion for music and how she kept going even after she failed at some competitions.

The combination of childhood pain, a brutal loss in her family and being stubborn enough to trust her instincts is only half the recipe.

Niniola takes us on her sojourn into music, her childhood influences and how she keeps on trying in spite of all the odds that seem stacked against her.

From being told NO at the 2007 West African Idols auditions, to picking herself up and harnessing her skills, she still went on to try at competitions again, coming third at the 2013 X-Factor.

Her belief in her own talent and her doggedness  is beyond remarkable. Nini’s music is founded on these turbulent emotions and that makes for some incredible music.
