President Arrives In Jerusalem For Pilgrimage

The president is expected to visit the Wailing Wall, Mount Tabor, Mount Carmel and other holy sites during his stay

President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, October 24, arrived in Jerusalem for a two-day pilgrimage to Israel.

The president is expected to visit the Wailing Wall, Mount Tabor, Mount Carmel and other holy sites during his stay.

Jonathan will also attend an Interdenominational Church Service with the theme: “A day with Jesus for Nigeria in Israel’ where he will offer prayers for his country.

The president was received by the Nigerian Ambassador to Israel, Davi Obasa and Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra among others while he was accompanied on the trip by the Chaplain of the Presidential Villa, Obioma Onwuzurumba, Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) among others.
