UK To Send 3 Jets To Join Search For Chibok Girls

The over 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped from Chibok in Borno about four months ago

The search for the Chibok girls continues as the United Kingdom has announced plans to send 3 warplanes to help find the missing girls.

Three Tornado GR4 jets belonging to Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) will be sent to Nigeria to join the search.

The planes are said to be outfitted with surveillance equipment and will also help to track the movements of the Boko Haram sect.

Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the girls’ abduction and has made a series of statements on the issue over time.

The schoolgirls were kidnapped on April 14, 2014 and are their whereabouts are still unknown.
