After kicking off the year with two big feature tracks, Phonerotica and Punk Shit, and a music video for Dark Paradise, Zambian-born but Johannesburg-raised rapper, producer and ARTIS label founder releases his first solo record for 2017.
Pocahontas is a catchy melodic Hip Hop track about moving on after a breakup, and about finding distraction by getting lost in the dark night, looking for that drunk love that isn’t love at all, but that numbs the pain and feels good in the moment.
"Pocahontas' is a metaphor for all the girls I’ve fiended with when I wanted to feel loved after I had my heart broken,” the rapper says. Pocahontas is the first single off PatricKxxLee’s first studio album “Diary Of An Arsonist”, to be released later this year, and ahead of the previously announced Pentad Series.
