Lil Kesh Hit Song Now Illegal

The highly unpopular regulatory body in Nigeria, NBC (National Broadcasting Commission) has placed a ban on YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh‘s smash single “Shoki“; arguably the hottest song in Nigeria right now.

The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has just banned the smash hit tune ‘Shoki’ by Lil Kesh.

This was disclosed by On-Air Personality, Toolz (Tolu Oniru) who works for the urban Lagos radio station, Beat 99.9 FM. Toolz took to twitter to announced the ban, “No Way! NBC just banned Shoki!!! Ahhhh shoki!. Toolz also took to twitter to lament, offering revealing NBC's reason for the ban. “Apparently shoki means ‘Quickie’ in yoruba…never heard that before’.

Even though the NBC is yet to update the recent development on their official website, some of the artistes concerned have started commenting on the ban. Recall that there are three very popular versions of the ‘Shoki’ song done by YBNL’s Lil Kesh, Orezi, and Dre San.

Responding to the ban, Lil Kesh wrote, ‘Lmfao! NBC don ban my song o! Shout out sawon goons mi. thanks for the love and the support #TeamYBNL’.
