Kenyan act accuses Iyanya of exploiting him

Jaguar, one of Kenya's top acts is claiming that Iyanya only worked with him so as to gain inroad into East Africa.

A Kenyan artiste by the name of Jaguar (real names Charles Njagua Kanyi) has accused Nigerian pop singer Iyanya of exploiting him.

Speaking to a Kenyan publication The Star, he said his collaboration with Iyanya 'One Centimeter' remix isn't getting any airplay in Nigeria despite being massive in East Africa. He said that Iyanya hasn't done anything to ensure the song has enough presence in Nigeria.

He also claimed that Iyanya jumped on the song just to gain popularity in East Africa. The Kenyan act said that Sauti Sol who is from Kenya is facing the same situation as his song with Iyanya 'Sura Yako' remix hardy gets played in Nigeria.

Jaguar went on to complain about Iyanya's diva like demands. He said that Iyanya insisted the video was shot in Nigeria and by Clarence Peters. Jaguar agreed for the video to be shot in Nigeria, but didn't bow to Iyanya's demand that Clarence Peter shoot the video. The 'One Centimeter' remix was directed by a Kenyan director by the name of Thome.
