Hosts For The Headies 2014 Unveiled

Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award “The Headies” is here again. Bovi & Toke Makinwa are the hosts.

The delectable TV/On Air Personality Toke Makinwa and hilarious comedian Bovi have been unveiled as this year’s host for the 9th Edition of The Headies.

Yes that’s right! Toke and Bovi will host the 9th edition of The Headies and if past editions were off the hook for you, then this year’s edition promises to be even bigger as Toke Makinwa get set to light up the stage while Bovi thrill us with some rib cracking displays.

The event is scheduled to hold next month, October 25th, 2014, and this year’s event promises to be bigger, better and stronger.

Bovi Ugboma

Bovi Ugboma is an actor, a writer, comedian, MC, poet and producer. Bovi ventured into the field of stand of comedy professionally in 2008 and has since grown to become one of the leading lights in the industry. He has featured in all the big comedy concerts in Nigeria and a host of others outside the shores of Nigeria. Currently he’s the CEO of Kountry Kulture Networks Ltd, a production house with bias for television, film and events.

Toke Makinwa

Television and radio personality, Toke Makinwa, burst onto the scene in 2010 after the premiere of her late night radio show, “Rhythms of the Night,” hosted by one of the most popular music stations in the Lagos Metropolitan area, Rhythm 93.7FM.A graduate from the University of Lagos, Toke had always known that her charm and alluring countenance belonged in the spotlight. In 2011, she started to build her portfolio working as a co-host on ‘The Morning Drive,’ where she keeps her loyal listeners entertained with news across the continent and the globe. Ms. Makinwa has been featured in major editorials including Exquisite Magazine, ThisDay Style, City People, Fashion TV and Complete Fashion Magazine, garnering attention for her petite figure but rivetting personality.
