Being Myself Will Give Me Greatness – Olawale (MTN Project Fame Winner)

“Having been crowned the winner of the latest season of MTN Project Fame West Africa and spent the last three months evolving his sound and honing his craft as an artist, fast-rising Nigerian Pop sensation and musician, Olawale, believes that he is on the right track to greatness.

His first single 'Is Notin' has been released this year, and a video shot by prolific director, Paul Gambit, is in the final post-production phases. Right now he is counting the days to the release.

"My new video drops in a couple of weeks, and it was shot by Paul Gambit. It was my first video ever, and I was a bit nervous." "The energy and everything, and you have to do it like you were performing. I gave my all, and maybe because I It was my first time, the nerves attacked.

“After Project fame, I dropped my first single, and I've worked on the video which we'll be dropping soon. 'I'm also recording a lot of works. I'm actually working on a lot of collaborations."

With one eye on the success of his predecessors, Chidinma Ekile, Iyanya Mbuk and Praiz, Olawale believes that emulating them is not the true path to success. His trick? Total belief in yourself.

"For me, what will make me get to the highest position is actually being myself. There are a lot of suggestions, and I avoid a lot of them. For me, I just want to be myself, work hard, and I believe by God's grace, it'll all work out fine.”
