'The Daily Show' has appointed Trevor Noah as a replacement for Jon Stewart who recently announced his departure from 'The Daily Show' after 16 years.
Comedian to succeed Jon Stewart on 'The Daily Show'
31-year-old comedian from South Africa, Trevor Noah, will replace Jon Stewart as the host of 'The Daily Show'.

South African comedian Trevor Noah has been given time to settle into this new role before next year's Presidential election.
Noah made his debut as a contributor to the nightly satirical show last December. Speaking on his appointment, the comedian who is currently on tour in Dubia said;
"You don't believe it for the first few hours. you need a stiff drink, and then unfortunately you're in a place where you can't really get alcohol." - He said.
"I'm thrilled for the show and for Trevor. He's a tremendous comic and talent that we've loved working with." - his predecessor, Stewart said in a statement. "
