The Wait is Over! Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson Cast as Lead in Fifty Shades of Grey

The wait is over, the die has been cast, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele finally have a face!

After months and months of speculations on who will play the lead role in the screen adaptation of the hugely successful novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, the duo of Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson have been announced as the chosen ones. The pair will play the lead characters of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively.

Charlie Hunnam is probably most well known for his role in the television series 'Sons of Anarchy' and also starred in the summer movie 'Pacific Rim' while Dakota Johnson, asides being known on account of her famous parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, has played small supporting roles in movies like 'The Five Year Engagement',  '21 Jump Street' and 'The Social Network'. This would however be the biggest role for the two without  doubt.

Reports had earlier stated that the 23 year old actress could be taking on the role of Anastasia Steele. With the announcement, writer E.L James and producers Focus and Universal Studios finally put to rest the months of speculations and guesses which fans of the novel had been doing from the moment it was announced the movie would be made into a big.

So what do you think? Do you agree with the choice of Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam as fresh college graduate Anastasia Steele and billionaire business, Christian Grey?
