"The Good Wife" spinoff gets renewed for season 2

A spinoff of "The Good Wife," "The Good Fight" follows an enormous financial scam that destroys the reputation of young lawyer, Maia.

The American legal and political drama television series which s a spin-off of "The Good Wife" was created by Robert King and Michelle King, and is currently in the fifth episode of its first season.

According to the network, the show has been renewed following phenomenal reactions from CBS All Access subscribers and critics.

About series

A year after the finale of "The Good Wife," an enormous financial scam destroys the reputation of young lawyer Maia and wipes out the savings of her mentor Diane Lockhart.

The two are forced out of Lockhart & Lee and join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms.

The series stars Baranski, Leslie, Cush Jumbo, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Erica Tazel, Paul Guilfoyle and Bernadette Peters.
