Actress wants to be a Marvel Superhero

In an interview with New York Times, the actress who recently played a Mathematician in "Hidden Figures," reiterated her wish to play something different from what fans have seen her in.

“I would love to be a Marvel superhero,” she said. “I’m dying to get into some comedy. I think I’m a stronger comedic actress than a dramatic actress. You guys just fell for the drama side.”

In an interview with EW in 2016, Henson had said she would love to play a man. "I want to play a man, like I want to really disappear,"  she said.

Taraji is popular for her role as  Cookie Lyon in "Empire." Her character is the outspoken ex-wife and mother of Lucious Lyon,  who served a 17-year stretch in prison for drug dealing.
