Somkele Idhalama, Chika Okpala receive luxury car prizes

Chika Okpala and Somkele Idhalama have received their car prize for winning AMVCA Industry Merit Award and the Trailblazer Award respectively.

The actors who won the AMVCA Industry Merit Award and the Trailblazer Award respectively at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards are now proud owners of GAC Motors’ luxury vehicles.

While Okpala won the new luxury SUV - the GS4, Idhalama won a classic sedan – the GA3.

Okpala thanked Chief Diana Chan, the Chairman of CIG Motors, saying, “For many years, it has been awards upon awards, but this is the most outstanding and I am very appreciative. More sweat to your armpit. Do not drop the standard and do not drop your focus.”

An emotional Somkele while receiving the keys to her car recalled wishing that she would one day be given an opportunity to present an award at the AMVCA.

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, the actress was a nominee, presented an award and also won an award.
