"My biggest fear is basically getting to that point where I feel like I need to do every and anything because I have to make that money, regardless of the integrity of that project, or whether I feel like that's a project I should be a part of."

On difference between the entertainment industry in Ghana and Nigeria;

"We are 30 million people in all of Ghana. Is that not less than Lagos? I try to explain to them that there are more opportunities in Nigeria, there are more things happening in Nigeria, only because Nigeria has been termed the hub of entertainment in Africa.

"And of course there is the cooperate sponsorship, and there's finances to make the industry what it is. I try to explain to them that there are less opportunities in Ghana because we are a smaller country, and we are don't have enough numbers to back up a lot of stuff that we are doing, which is pretty much not in our favour.

" So for Ghana, we definitely have to think outside the box to be able to break out. We have to be different. We have to be bold. We have to be unique."

On why filmmakers are not adapting African stories;

"How many movies of Queen Elizabeth have we watched? Or even The Titanic, or things like that. Things that have happened in history that people outside are proud of, and feel like they can adapt into something dramatic."

"We have so many stories, and we are not telling the world about it. It's so frustrating. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there thinking like me when it comes to folktales, or just little things that we heard when we were younger, that we can make amazing stories out of.

"I think usually it is just finance, and the ability to finance such huge intricate project. Because, if you do it and you don't do it well, you know we're coming after you.

I also think there is the fear, because these are stories we cherish so much that if we are not going to be able to do them as good, maybe we shouldn't do them at all."
