TV mogul is developing a comedy series for ABC

'Grey's Anatomy,' and 'Scandal' creator, Shonda Rhimes, is developing a new comedy series for ABC.

ABC orders the pilot of a new Shonda Rhime's show.

Shonda Rhimes who is popular for intense dramas  like 'How to Get Away With Murder,' 'Scandal,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' is developing a divorce comedy for ABC.

The showrunner is teaming up with 'Trophy Wife'  creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins to develop a 30-minute show titled 'Splitsville'  for ABC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The comedy centers on a group of single residents of a suburban cul-de-sac, who in the wake of a wave of divorces join forces to raise their kids and get through it together."

The upcoming comedy will be written by Halpern and Haskins. They will also exec produce the comedy alongside Shondaland's Rhimes and Beers.
