Tina Mba, Bimbo Manuel star in short film

Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, "Room 315" is an open project which has its talented cast and crew providing their services for free.

The short film titled "Room 315" is written by Abosi Ogba, who won the scriptwriting competition held by Akinmolayan in July, 2016. The top three contenders were Phoenix Ifeoma's "Pastorpreneur," Okonkwo Johnson Stephen's "The Salon," and Ogba's "Room 315."

The short film which has been described as a joint effort, has been met with positive responses, and also has talented filmmakers volunteering to be a part of the project.

Emmanuel K. Uduma and Patience Oluwafunmilayo volunteered to work on the project as producer and production manager respectively.

Taofeek Olanrewaju Tyson also volunteered to be the Cinematographer. Oluwafemi Dada, who designed the original Moments with Mo set, Art director on "Tinsel" and "The Johnsons," also volunteered to work on the project as the production designer.

Acting coach and director, Adebayo Olasunkanmi will also hold a one-day free workshop with every one who submitted an audition tape for the character Nina.

"Room 315" revolves around a psychotherapist, his patients, their sessions and his past.

The short film which has its shoot date set for Saturday, October 22, 2016, will star veterans Tina Mba and Bimbo Manuel as Edwina and Dr. Stone respectively.

The other characters including Adam, Nina and Taiwo, will be announced soon.

"I want to basically show nollywood that we can work together if we commit to doing so," Akinmolayan said.

"Room 315" will also get to premiere at a FilmHouse cinema once completed.
