"Tinsel" vs "Hush": Which is more engaging?

Since 2008, there has been a household show titled "Tinsel." It's 2016, and viewers are addicted to the political drama, "Hush."

For years in the Nigerian TV world, "Tinsel" remained the most popular, original and engaging soap opera.

In recent years, Africa Magic has gone on to create more entertaining and quality series including "Hotel Majestic" "Hush," and "Hustle."

For eight years, viewers have been entertained by "Tinsel." Some have religiously followed the story of Reel Studios and Odyssey. Some still binge-watch the show every weekend, while some still do not understand why the show is still running.

Within these eight years, "Tinsel" has created lots of household creative entertainers. It has become like a film academy, which every actor has to pass through. It has also offered memorable characters including Angela Dede, Phillip Ade Williams, Shalewa, Bimpe, Soji among others.

It's 2016, and there is a new show. An engaging piece titled "Hush," which has risen from the multitude of Nigerian content and has gained the attention of most Nigerian TV lovers.

Directed by Victor Aghahowa, "Hush" stars Richard Mofe Damijo, Thelma Okoduwa,  Baj Adebule, Rotimi Adelegan, Uche Osotule, Lilian Amah, Lanre Balogun Meg Otanwa, Tana Adelena, Michelle Dede, Ade Laoye among others.

The story of Hush revolves around Bem and Arinola, power-players in fashion and politics respectively. Everyday, Nigeria Twitter comes alive with tweets on “Hush," making it more popular and a social media sensation.

There are two things that can't be taken away from these shows - originality and beautiful cast.
