On Saturday, September 26, 2015, Kunle Afolayan's hit movie undefinedwon the 2015 AMAA 'Best Nigerian Film' award at the event which held in South Africa.

The multiple award winning movie is one Afolayan's hit movie, which every movie lover must have heard of, seen, or totally in love with.

Check out 6 things you should know about the award winning movie;

1. October 1 is a 2014 Nigerian dark psychological thriller film written by Tunde Babalola, produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan.

2. The hit movie stars Sadiq Daba, Kayode Olaiya, David Bailie, Kehinde Bankole, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Nick Rhys, Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Manuel, Ibrahim Chatta, Demola Adedoyin, and a special appearance from Deola Sagoe.

3. 'October 1' is set in Colonial Nigeria, and narrates the story of  a police officer from Northern Nigeria,  Danladi Waziri, who is posted to a remote town of Akote in Western Nigeria to investigate the frequent female murder cases in the community, and have the mystery solved before the Nigerian flag is raised on October 1, Nigeria's Independence Day.

4. 'October 1' which was shot in Lagos and Ondo State for a period of over forty days with Red Cameras, premiered on September 28, 2014, with guests dressed in the 60's outfits.
