Actor Emeka Ike Drags His Landlord To Court

The last has not been heard between Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike and his landlord as they battle over his rented apartment located inside the MagodoGRA, Lagos.

The recent happenstance is that the actor turned educationist has dragged the 87-years-old man to court, slamming a N2billion suit on the owner of the property.

The news was rife last week that the landlord had thrown out the former , over his failure to pay his rent for over three years, amounting to N8.5 million.

The old man had told new hounds after the court ruling that he had;

“filed a contempt of court against Emeka and we have taken possession of the property and about renovating it. I have sympathy for Emeka, but unfortunately, he has no sympathy for himself. I don’t know what Emeka would do again. I have never seen a character like that before,” the landlord said after the court ruling.”

But in a swift reaction, we hear that Emeka Ike on his part has sued the landlord for N2billion as compensation, while insisting that he was not thrown out of his rented apartment by his landlord as widely reported in the media.

We hope we will see an amicable solution to this imbroglio real soon.
