The ember months are about to get even more interesting in the Nollywood sphere. Several movies about to make their debut on the big screen. Check out the cinema premiere dates of some highly anticipated movies:

A young couple are happily married and madly in love suddenly find their ‘for better, for worse’ vow is put to the test when the husband suffers a terrible accident which leaves him in a coma for months. Torn between holding on to faith and pulling the plug on her husband, the woman turns to the doctor for emotional & financial comfort; an action with consequences capable of shattering their lives and all they hold dear.

The film features Adesua Etomi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kunle Rhemmy, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kofi Adjorlolo and a cameo appearance from Desmond Elliot.

The drama film follows the life of its lead character Iquo who is a carrier of the HIV virus. Following all the tragedy in her life, Iquo stands strong and uses her experiences to help others.

The produced by Blessing Effiom Egbe, the film stars Kate Henshaw and Femi Jacobs.

Nwanne is a selfless and compassionate young lady, who due to circumstances beyond her control finds herself in a community where there is little or no development, instead of dwelling in her past, she decides to accept her fate by getting a job as a teacher in the community school where she helps and encourages the children in the community school overcome their struggles.

The film produced by Chika Ike stars the Nollywood diva alongside Liz Benson and Joseph Benjamin.

In a classic Cinderella like story, a prostitute, Michelle, is stuck in a world she couldn't escape from. Her hope that one day a Prince Charming would rescue her from it all seems lost. An heir to an empire, Kenechi, is transformed into a child by an overly ambitious uncle who wants the empire to himself. Bound by a shared destiny, Michelle finds that she might be doing the rescuing until she realizes there's no escaping her pimp (Obama), who would do anything to keep her as his First Lady.

Written and directed by Omoni Oboli, the comedy film stars the likes of Joseph Benjamin, Oboli, Yvonne Jegede, Alexx Ekubo, Chinedu Ikedieze, Udoka Oyeka and Tony Monjaro.

Gbomo Gbomo Express' is centred around the kidnapping of record label boss, Austin Mba and Cassandra, a beautiful socialite, after a celebratory night out at the club.

Things get increasingly complicated for the amateur kidnappers led by Francis, who has trouble keeping his girlfriend, Blessing and crazy sidekick, Filo, in check, as they shakedown Rotimi, Austin’s partner, to pay the ransom.

The film features Ramsey Nouah, Gideon Okeke, Osas Ajibade, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Gbenro Ajibade, Alexx Ekubo, Ikechukwu, Shaffy Bello–Akinrimisi, Kenneth Okolie, Omoye Uzamere, Niqua Johnson, Shakar EL and Ben Thomas.

The romantic action drama centres on Regina, a young female scavenger who rescues a soldier who had been left for dead. After protecting and nursing him back to health for months, the fighter finally awakens but has no recollection of who he is and his past. As time goes on, the soldier begins to develop feelings for Regina but as he begins to regain his memory, he starts to realize he might actually have a life in Nigeria.

Written by Frank Ogar, the film features Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) winning actors Tope Tedela and Linda Ejiofor playing the lead roles.

"Fifty" captures a few pivotal days in the lives of four Nigeria women at the pinnacle of their careers. Meet Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate four friends forced at midlife to take inventory of their personal lives, while juggling careers and family against the sprawling backdrops of the upper middle-class neighbourhoods of Ikoyi and Victoria Island in Lagos.

Directed by Biyi Bandele, "Fifty" stars the some of Nollywood's most talented actresses including Ireti Doyle, Dakore Akande, Nse Ikpe Etim and Omoni Oboli.
