Funke Akindele, JJC, Shina Peters attend final screening of sitcom

The final screening of "Jenifa in London" was attended by the legendary Sir Shina Peters, who later took to the stage for a surprise performance.

The event was attended by the legendary Sir Shina Peters, who later took to the stage for a surprise performance. JJC was also present to support his wife as she premiered the hilarious sitcom.

Other celebrities in attendance include Weird MC and Ruth Kadiri.

A new sitcom from Akindele aka Jenifa, "Jenifa in London" continues the exploits of Jenifa and Adaku, as the two travel to London in search of greener pastures. It follows the trouble that comes with being an illegal immigrant.

The Sitcom also stars Bikiyah Graham Douglas, Onyibo Princess, Bunmi Mojekwu, Jack Loy, Lolo 1 among others.

"Jenifa's Diary" is a comedy television series that depicts the hilarious and amazing adventures of Suliat,  a.k.a Jenifa.

A secondary school dropout turned hairdresser who lives in a backwater town called Aiyetoro, Jenifa is loud, overbearing, very opinionated, and an interesting character to watch.
