Actress to star in new crime drama ‘Murder Town’

Jada Pinkett-Smith is back and this time she will be on TV in a new self-produce crime drama titled “Murder Town”.

The American actress will play the role of sassy lawyer who makes history by becoming Wilmington, Delaware's first black district attorney.

There she bumps into an old love and must confront revelations about her husband’s murder, all the while handling racially charged and polarizing cases that rock the town.

“Murder Town” is based on a script from "How to Get Away with Murder" written by Barry Schindel.

Jada Pinkett last television role was on "Gotham." where she played Fish Mooney a character who gets to do extreme things, a ruthless mobster but she was only starred in the season one of the series.
