The much anticipated movie 'Invasion 1897' by award winning filmmaker, Lancelot Imaseun, had it's Dallas premiere recently. The premiere which had Monalisa Chinda as a special guest, also had Uche Jombo R, Kenny Rodriguez and others in attendance.

Invasion 1897 got 3 awards in the 11th edition of Abuja International Film Festival and would have a special screening at the upcoming AFRIFF 2014.
Invasion 1897 features Segun Arinze, Charles Inojie, Rudolph Walker, Charles Nosa Ehimwen, Paul Obazele, Leo Mezie, Mike Omoriegbe, Idiata Otiagbe , Annika Álofti, Garett Mort, Hannah Raehse-Felstead, Tim Robinson, Rob Spackman, Patrick Thompson, Keith Davinson and the late Justus Esiri in a cameo role.
