Today, August 28, 2015 is the birthday of the talented actress, and to celebrate her, Pulse Nigeria has put together 5 interesting things you probably didn't know about her.

1. Yekini is a Nigerian-British native, who emerged the winner of the 1st Annual GIAMA – Screen Icon Search (SIS) Competition.

2. Diana made her film debut in 2009 with a role in the award-winning 'IJE' alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade.

3. The actress earned her BA in Theatre from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.

4. Since moving to Nigeria in 2013, Diana has stared in EbonyLife TV drama 'A New You,' 'All That Glitters,' 'SaroThe Musical', 'Lagos Cougars,' 'Lunch Time Heroes.'

5. The talented actress is also a trained tap dancer. Diana studied theater and dance at the Brit School of Performing Arts in London, and at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
