Actress doesn't think there's a barrier between actors from Yoruba and English sectors [Video]

In an exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria, actress and singer, Dayo Amusa, spoke on discrimination in the Nigerian movie industry Nollywood.

The actress also spoke on her transition from Yoruba speaking movies to English speaking movies.

"Initially, a lot of people used to feel that the Yoruba sector of the movie industry is just there," she said.

"For me, I see us all as entertainers , irrespective of the language barrier. Yoruba language is indigenous, you can't compare it to English, which is a general language."

"I don't think those in English sector of Nollywood see the Yorubas as people they cant work with. I will say probably the right script isn't coming to them. We aren't giving them the right script."
