Bukky Ajayi has died at the age 82. The veteran performer reportedly passed away today, Wednesday July 6, 2016.
This heartbreaking news was confirmed by the son of the actress Kunle Fawole popularly known as Abounce (actor and rapper). He told Nollywood website TNS, "Mumsie passed away about thirty minutes ago. God knows best".

Ajayi’s impact in Nollywood presented a standard for other actors to follow. Her death is not only being mourned by her family but the entire entertainment industry and her fans. Stella Damasus, Dayo Amusa and Femi Branch have taken to social media to mourn her.
