According to Variety, The Marvel film also garnered $627 million globally in just 12 days.
Marvel's Avengers (2012), is still leading as the highest domestic opening weekend with $207.4 million.
The success of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', currently has Marvel claiming the top three biggest domestic opening weekends in history, with The Avengers taking the lead with $207,438,708, The Avengers: Age of Ultron as the second with $187,656,000 , and Iron Man 3 with $174,144,585 .
Last weekend's other top 5 include The Age Of Adaline ($6.25 million), Furious 7 ($6.11 million), Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 ($5.55 million) and Home ($3.3 million.).
