Yet another disappointment for Frank Donga

Frank Donga lost out at the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards 2015 but his fans are still rooting for him

Comedic character Frank Donga and his many fans are already used to his run-in of disappointments but last night, everybody wanted to see some change in the status quo.

Kunle Idowu (who plays the character Frank Donga), was nominated for 'Best Actor (Comedy)' at the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards for his role in the Ndani TV web series '' against the likes of Femi Jacobs (The Meeting), Nonso Diobi (The Last 3 Digits) and Wale Ojo (Meet The Adebanjos).

Despite lots of love from fans all across social media, Idowu still lost the award to Femi Jacobs. That didn't stop #TeamDonga from showering him with praise (with other  commending his fab dressing on the night).

Frank Donga in the past two years has grown to become a YouTube sensation; with a theme revolving around failed job interviews (where he always find something to say wrong), Nigerians have grown to love him and his ubiquitous pink shirt.
