In no particular order, check out 10 forgotten Nigerian masterpieces.

1. "Amadaz"

The classic Nollywood movie starred Enebeli Elebuwa, Saint Obi, Bimbo Akintola, Adaora Okoh, Peter Bruno, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey among others.

What we remember: The movie followed three armed robbers. During one of their operations in a bank, RMD's character killed his brother because he recognized him.

At the end of the movie, his character was seen in hell fire.

2. "Smooth Operator"

The 2002 movie starred Clem Ohameze, Rita Nzelu, Charles Okafor, Camila Mberekpe, Shan George, Ebuka Onu among others.

What we remember: The movie starred Ohameze as Arinze and Okafor as Chibuike. Shan George's character was married to Chibuike, and she instigated enmity between the two brothers and business.

3. "Ejima (Twins)"

The movie starred Liz Benson, Peter Bruno Junior, Sola Fosudo, Francis Duru among others.

What we remember: One of the twins was killed by a horse when they were kids.

4. "Visitor"

A horror movie, the classic starred Tricia Esiegbe.

What we remember: The movie revolved a killer who dropped notes after murdering her victims.

5. "The Oath"

The movie starred Liz Benson, Sola Fosudo, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Jennifer Ossai, Tom Njemanze. Bukky Ajayi, Obot Etuk among others.

What we remember: Stella (Liz Benson) made an oath with Steve (Sola Fosudo). Years later, they both got married to different people and were unable to bear kids.

6. "Harbinger"

The movie starred Zack Orji, Florence Onuma, Ejike Asiegbu, Eucharia Anunobi, Ngozi Nwosu among others.

What we remember: The movie starred Eucharia as Ndidi, a jealous and possessive wife married to Zach Orji's character, Azubuike.

Her nagging attitude pushes her loving husband away and turns him into a drug addict. Despite his recovery, he left his family to start all over again.

7. Submission

The movie starred Patience Ozokwor, Stella Damasus, Jeniffer Eliogu, Clem Ohameze, Zack Orji among others.

What we remember: The movie starred Ozokwor as an evil mother/in-law  and a greedy mother of three children. Her numerous crimes include sleeping with her daughter's husband.

8. "End Time"

The shot Clem Ohameze into limelight, and also starred Zach Orji, Ashely Nwosu, Olu Jacobs, Jide Kosoko, Angela Phillips, Shan George, Florence Onuma, Okey Bakassi, Okechukwu Joseph among others.

What we remember: The movie followed an occultic man of God, Pastor Weaver, who regularly wore a magic ring.

"End Time" also focused on the idea of a money making church council.

9. "Yet Another Day"

The movie starred Kate Henshaw, Nobert Young, Rachael Oniga and Esse Agesse Ogoro.

What we remember: Kate Henshaw's character was sexually abused as a child by her uncle (Nobert Young).

She finally got infected with HIV virus.
