Ex-Gov says President Buhari is simply incompetent

Sule Lamido has expressed his disappointment at President Buhari saying he is simply incompetent to lead Nigeria.

Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido

In a recent report by Daily Trust, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain reproached President Buhari for heaping the current complaints by Nigerians on recession.

Without mincing words, Lamido said: “President Buhari is simply incompetent on the provision of the welfare of the citizens because he was never ready for the job, and so, he lacks the capacity to source for the wherewithal to do it well to the satisfaction of Nigerians.”

Continuing, Lamido said: “If he cannot ensure the provision of basic needs of Nigerians, tell him to hand over to me and see how I will source for the wherewithal to do it.”

He further expressed that there were basic needs of living, which must be provided for the citizens by the government and President Buhari's inability to source for funds to provide such needs shouldn't be blamed on recession but incompetence.

Earlier in the year, Lamido said the PDP is strategizing to rescue Nigeria from what he described as APC mismanagement of governance.
