Lawyers representing Senate President, Bukola Saraki today, November 5, 2015, walked out of his ongoing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) to register their anger at the proceedings.
Drama as Senate President’s lawyers walk out of tribunal
Saraki’s counsel abandoned the case after the tribunal ruled that the Senate President’s trial must continue despite a pending appeal.

The walk-out was announced by one of the lawyers, Mahmud Magaji (SAN) on behalf of Saraki’s legal team.
Magaji further described the tribunal’s ruling as judicial rascality.
The CCT has adjourned the case till November 19.
