The former new media aide, also slammed the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi over his comments on the establishment of the Maritime University in the Niger-Delta.

He said “Amaechi must realize that he wasn't sent to the Niger Delta by President Buhari. Rather, he was sent by the Niger Delta to President Buhari.”

Adding that “Amaechi has this all wrong. He will serve Buhari better by explaining the Niger Delta to him than by explaining Buhari to the Niger Delta.”

Omokri also praised the minister of state for petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, saying “Ibe Kachikwu taught us the difference between a MINISTER and a ME-nister. A ministers to Nigerians while a me-nister ministers to his ego!”
