Labour union protests fuel price hike in Lagos, Abuja, others [PHOTOS]

The Federal Government had attempted to resolve the conflict and succeeded in convincing the Joe Ajaero faction of the NLC and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to back down.

Protests are also being held in other states of the federation today, May 18, 2016.

The Federal Government had attempted to resolve the conflict and succeeded in convincing the Joe Ajaero faction of the NLC and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to back down.

It however failed to convince the Ayuba Wabba faction of the NLC which then vowed to proceed with the strike.
