He said that the call was necessary because youths were the future leaders of the country and have significant role to play to ensure the sustenance of peace and unity.
``The main issue before you is to ensure that Nigeria is a country of peace because the future is yours.
``In the next 20 years nobody will talk about Sule Lamido or Buhari even if we are alive, but the legacies we leave behind. So, the future is yours,” he said.
The former governor said that as a social media group, members of the forum had the capacity to enlighten people on the need for peace and unity in the country.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, said that they were in Kano to pledge their solidarity to the former governor.
``No governor has put Jigawa State on the right track like Sule Lamido, hence our decision to come and pay him the solidarity visit”, he said.
Dingyadi urged Lamido not to be distracted by the recent suspension of his son, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido as District Head of Bamaina.
