FG gives 5,136 bags of rice to IDPs in 21 communities

Numerous IDPs in 21 communities situated in Yobe state have reportedly gotten a total of 5,136 bags of rice from FG.

There are about 10 million stateless persons in the world

Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam stated this in Gujba while receiving the donation from the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hajiya Khadijah Bukar.

Gaidam, who was represented by his deputy, Abubakar Aliyu, said the donation of food and non-food items would facilitate the resettlement and rehabilitation of the returning people of the communities.

“They will obviously need continuous delivery of relief materials up to the time they will consolidate themselves in the returned communities,” he said.
