Drunk policeman kills twin brothers and friend

It was further gathered that the deceased twin brothers were identified as Taiwo and Kehinde Oyesunle and their friend known simply as Jeje.

 

A drunk police sergeant with Force number 217884 and identified as Stephen James has murdered twin brothers, their friend and himself.

According to a report by Punch Newspaper, Sergeant James shot the three male dead outside the premises of Paulson hotel in Ketu area of Lagos State.

It was further gathered that the deceased twin brothers were identified as Taiwo and Kehinde Oyesunle and their friend known simply as Jeje.

Reports revealed that trouble started when the Sergeant James, who is attached to Mopol 22, Ikeja has threatened to shoot customers if they failed to buy him an alcoholic drink. And when Taiwo, Kehinde and Jeje cautioned him to comport himself as an adult and a responsible policeman, he reportedly felt offended and ambushed the trio before murdering them.

On seeing the crime he had committed, Sergent James allegedly shot himself in the chest and died almost instantly.

Reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Joe Offor, confirmed the killings saying “The policeman was on duty at that hotel. He was attached to Mopol 22, Ikeja. He was drunk while on duty and he acted under the influence of alcohol.”
