Police parade 13-year-old female suicide bomber

13-year-old Zaharau was caught with an explosive vest on December 11 at a hospital in Kano State.

The police in Kano state have arrested and paraded a young female suicide bomber.

13-year-old Zaharau was caught with an explosive vest on December 11 at a hospital in the state.

The young girl claimed to be an indigene of Bauchi and reportedly said that she had been recruited into the “trade” by her father.

Zaharau is said to have showed up at the hospital to receive treatment after getting injured in a December 10 bombing at the Kantin Kwari textile market.

The attack was carried out by two female suicide bombers and left at least 6 people dead.
