The police in Kano State have averted a suicide bombing after they arrested a teenage girl wearing an explosive vest.

The 13-year-old prospective suicide bomber reportedly showed up at a clinic in the state on Thursday, December 11.

A nurse at the facility and a security source reportedly confirmed the incident to Vanguard.
“The people there called the attention of security personnel who found explosives primed for a suicide attack on her,” the source said.
The latest discovery comes after two female suicide bombers attacked a market in the state on Wednesday leaving 6 people, including themselves, dead.

The police in the state also discovered a bomb hidden at the Dawanau food market on Thursday.
