Presiding judge, Justice Muslim Hassan further directed anyone interested in the funds to appear before him to show why the money should not be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

The case has been adjourned till May 5, for further hearing.

Meanwhile, former Managing Director at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mrs Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue has denied reports that the money is hers.

Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Muazu had earlier denied ownership of the building in which the cash was found.
