Patience Jonathan, Saraki, others attend launch of Senator's anti-corruption book

Guests in attendance include former first lady, Patience Jonathan, Senate President, Bukola Saraki; House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and former speaker, Ghali Na’Abba.
“There is no consensus on what constitutes corruption most definitions of corruption in Nigeria have been subjective,” Na’Abba said according to The Cable.
“Corruption is not only in matters of finance, corruption also means deviance. It is simply a failure of leadership. It is social deviance. Nepotism, stealing and all social deviance is corruption,” he added.
Mrs Jonathan is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for money laundering.
She is currently involved in a legal battle with the EFCC over the sum of $5.8 million which was linked to her.
The money is in a bank account which has been frozen and unfrozen severally since the case against her began.
Mrs Jonathan has accused the EFCC of trying to steal her hard-earned money which she claimed was gotten as gifts from friends.
The EFCC is alleging that the funds are proceeds of crime.
