Minister reportedly books same flight as Buhari in order to speak with him

Alison-Madueke was originally billed to travel next week but she supposedly asked the airline to move her flight forward so she could be on the same plane as Buhari.

Outgoing Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke has reportedly flown to London on the same flight as President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari in order to have a chance to speak with him.

Alison-Madueke was originally billed to travel next week but she supposedly asked the airline to move her flight forward so she could be on the same plane as Buhari, according to Sahara Reporters.

The duo reportedly left the country at about 9am today, May 22, 2015, on a British Airways flight.

Buhari is expected to return to the country on Tuesday, May 26, in time for his inauguration on Friday, May 29.
