Lai Mohammed confirms release of 82 victims

According to Segun Adeyemi, the Special Adviser to the Minister on Information and Culture, 82 more girls have regained freedom.

The confirmation was made by one of the aides to the Information minister on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

According to Segun Adeyemi, the Special Adviser to the Minister on Information and Culture, 82 more girls have regained freedom.

"It was a negotiated release, and they are about to be flown from Banki to Abuja," Adeyemi reportedly said.

The release of the girls are coming hours after news filtered into town that they had been released more than two years after they were kidnapped from their school in Chibok town, Borno.
