Rescued Chibok girl, Amina Ali to meet with President

This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu to ThisDay on Wednesday, May 18.

“President Muhammadu Buhari is set to receive her Thursday. She will be brought by the Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima,” Shehu said.

Amina was found in the company of her “husband”, a suspected Boko Haram member identified as Mohammed Hayatu.

She was taken to her home and identified by her mother after she was initially recognized by a local vigilante member.

Amina was abducted on April 14, 2014, along with over 200 other girls, most of whom are still in captivity.
