President reportedly absent at daughter's wedding
President Buhari was missing in action as his daughter, Fatimah wedded Gimba Yau Kumo in Daura, Katsina State.

According to a report by TheCable, though the wedding held in the home of the President in Daura, Katsina State in his absence, dignitaries stormed the occasion in droves.
While reasons for the President Buhari's absence is yet to be disclosed, it was reported that Governors of Gombe and Bauchi, Ibrahim Dankwambo and Muhammad Abubakar, led dignitaries to the holy solemnization.
Other dignitaries present include Minister for Interior, Abdurrahman Dambazau, Minister for Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, Minister for Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede, and Department of State Service boss, Lawal Daura, director-general.
Fatimah got married to Gimba Yau Kumo, a former managing director of Mortgage Bank, in Daura, Katsina state, on Friday, October 28, 2016.
