President leaves Nigeria for Saudi Arabia [PHOTOS]

Buhari, who just returned from Egypt, is also expected to visit Qatar after a stop in the Muslim holy land.

President Muhammadu Buhari leaves Nigeria for Saudi Arabia on February 22, 2016

The president has been criticized for his frequent travels with opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alleging that he goes on the trips because he receives his travel allowance in dollars.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has however said that Buhari is travelling in a bid to correct the near-pariah status that Nigeria had under Goodluck Jonathan.
