“I am feeling much better now. There may however be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks. I have received the best of treatment I can receive,” he told reporters on Friday after his return.

Buhari also said that Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo would continue to govern so he could get some more rest.

“Youth and intelligence is clearly behind him, age and purely military experience is purely behind me,” Buhari said.

“I deliberately came back towards the weekend so that the vice-president will continue and I will continue to rest,” he added.

Buhari’s absence has caused much controversy in the country and forced the Presidency to deny rampant death rumours.
